The Canadian Baptist Historical Society (CBHS) is a community dedicated to discovering, researching, and promoting the story of the Baptist community in Canada. The society is made up of ministers, students, dedicated laypeople, and professional historians. There are many opportunities to contribute to the society by participating in the annual meeting of the society, by becoming a member of the society, and by contributing to upcoming volumes of the Canadian Baptist Historical Society Series. Annual General Meeting
Scholars, pastors, students and those interested in Baptist history are all warmly invited to attend meetings of the society.
Each April we gather for our Annual General Meeting. At these meetings, we discuss business and host academic presentations.
The 2023 meeting was held at Toronto Baptist Seminary. Future meetings will be held at Heritage College and Seminary (2024) and McMaster Divinity College (2025).
